Ten Commandment of Business Success

• 1. Concern yourself with what you're doing rather than thinking up lofty names.
• 2. Spend large amounts of time with profitable details, rather than company log, business cards designs, etc.
• 3. Do not spend large amounts of capitl before creating income.
• 4. Spend time planning and goal setting that require tihinking & meetings, rather than rushing ahead and "Doing Something".
• 5. Use the management cycle to plan, organize, lead and control, rather than crisis management and fire stomping.
• 6. Hire people as needed and establish a coherent personnel policy -- grievance system/suggetion systems.
• 7. Keep functional roles clear, well defined and not overlapping. on't embarrass an employee by doing their job better than they do.
• 8. Put a lot of energy into letting the wold know what a better product/service you have.
• 9. Redouble your efforts to succeed in the course you originally committed to, rather than diversifying,m finding new products or new businesses.
• 10. Be cautious about seeking the assistance of those who "KNOW".
